Seven Frontier Survival hacks for your survival in the wilderness are worth considering, regardless of where you live. First, there is a need to learn about rain timing. This may be the one factor that will determine whether or not you live or die from thirst. In extreme situations, this could mean life or death. Knowing rain and temperature patterns can help keep your food stores full and your thirst at bay.

Second on the list is water purification. You may have a constant supply of clean water. However, it doesn’t mean you don’t need to purify it. When traveling, leave enough storage space for your essentials, but make sure the containers can handle the volume of water you’ll be pulling from it. It’s also a good idea to carry an additional water purification tablet.

Next on the frontier goody list is shelter. While a well stocked campfire may be all the comfort you need, having some sort of roof or other shelter will help keep you comfortable. Having some sort of cover over the night or at least six feet of it will also ensure warmth. Keep some tinder nearby, some rope, some duct tape, and some pins to start building a simple shelter.

Along with a good shelter, it’s also a good idea to take a few basic survival items. For example, make sure your compass and a signal mirror are in good working order. You may also want to bring a smoke remedy and a poncho.

Thirdly, you may want to look into a hunting ground ahead of time. There are always fields where animals like squirrels and rabbits are in abundance. If you want to bag some deer or moose, be sure to mark out your location so others know where you’re going to be sitting. Better yet, draw a map so you can sit in the best spot.

Fourthly, make sure that you have a lot of food on hand. Supply kits are a good thing to have if you’re going to be away from home for a while. You’ll also want to have some spare clothes on hand too. Just in case there is an emergency and you need to get cleaned up, your clothes should always be clean.

Fifthly, it’s also a good idea to have a first aid kit with you. It’s not that complicated to make, and it will serve you well when things go bad. You could even include some anti-bacterial liquid to help prevent staph infections. Your doctor will probably give you a prescription for medicine. Just remember that prescription drugs are not to be taken without the expressed written advice of a medical professional.

You will never know when an accident is going to happen. Therefore, you will need to be prepared for any eventuality. This means that you need to find the best 7 frontier survival hacks and practice them in your head as often as you can. Make sure that you don’t forget about them, and that you keep all the med kits that you can carry with you on your list.
