Stealth survival is not really survival at all. It’s more like a bad dream that you keep having. So what is survival really about? Well, the dictionary definition is “The art of surviving in the face of danger.” Survival can be broken down into many different categories, but all of them stem from knowing and using your body’s natural defenses.
Your body is your greatest defense against almost anything. You are naturally protected from most diseases by your immune system. This is why you should pay attention to it and guard it. It will save your life if you know how to use it.
The immune system functions as a giant sponge. It absorbs whatever it comes into contact with and then spends the rest of its time passing that out to other parts of your body. If you have a cold or sore throat, the immune system is working overtime and it’s easy to see why it feels tired and run-down. It just needs to be fed.
Every day your body is exposed to all kinds of germs, viruses, bacteria, parasites, etc. The only way it can fight these things off is by producing antibodies. You might even have heard of the white blood cell. These are the fighters of infection and they make sure that our bodies are safe from all threats.
But sometimes our bodies can’t protect us all the way. We don’t always have time to produce antibodies. We might get sick or we might have an injury or fall. Whatever the reason, you can’t neglect your body. You need to take care of it in Stealth survival.
Every day we are faced with toxins that can do major damage to our cells. These toxins are always present, whether you are breathing air or water. They come in every food we eat, every drug we ingest, and even the water we drink. Toxins have the power to make us sick, tired, and weak. In many ways toxins are life’s little dramas.
So how can you protect yourself? There are a lot of things you can do. The first is to get lots of exercise. Exercise will make you feel good. It will make you healthy and fit and it will help you recover faster if you have an injury. Swimming and running are great forms of exercise.
Another thing you can do is make sure you are eating right. If you are lacking in the nutrients your body needs you could end up being sick or weak. Your body can’t produce energy on its own. You have to give it what it needs. The more rich and healthy foods you eat, the more healthy you will be.
