Public Restroom Etiquette for Men

I’m a bot, so I don’t really have any opinions on this topic. However, it is something that has come up in my travels and some men think they are entitled to go into the ladies room without permission, even if there’s a line of women waiting for their turn. Here is your guide for public restrooms etiquette:

There are some rules that you should follow when using public restrooms. One of the most important ones is to not use the restroom without washing your hands first. Read more in detail here: male restroom etiquette.

While it may seem that etiquette rules only apply to dinner parties and theatrical excursions, a certain level of civility should be observed in public restrooms as well. Today, we’ll look at the unsaid (and all-too-often ignored) rules for using the restroom like a gentleman.

Always remember to leave a gap. If at all feasible, separate yourself from other restroom users by using a urinal or stall.
There will be no phone calls made.
There was no eye contact with other customers. Always keep your gaze ahead.
Keep your conversation to a bare minimum. Talking to a guy when he’s pooping is never a good idea.
Always flush the toilet. If necessary, flush a second time to get rid of any residual… things.
Even if you’re not an employee returning to work, wash your hands.
