Today’s Sandwich: Brady Bellew’s Turkey & Cream Cheese

This one appealed to me because of its simplicity. It’s a cold-cut foundation with not a lot of zing. This is a traditional turkey sandwich with a tweak to give it a little additional oomph. Let’s have a look at how things went!

Ingredients

Vintage butter, Olive oil, Turkey cream cheese, Swiss cheese illustration.

  • a loaf of bread (I used sourdough)
  • Butter
  • Olive oil is a kind of oil that comes from
  • Turkey
  • creme fraiche
  • Swiss cheese is a popular choice.

First, toast the bread.

I used thick sourdough pieces that barely fit into the toaster.

Step 2: Spread the butter and cream cheese on the bread.

I gave it a good slathering. I've learned from experience not go do a light spread when it comes to cream cheese on sandwiches.

Notes from the Tasters

This is an average lunch sandwich. I mean it as a compliment; you could easily eat this sandwich for lunch every day of the week and it wouldn’t seem like an extravagance. I’d definitely omit the butter and/or oil since it seems like a fatty overabundance. I’m also wondering as to why Brady toasted the bread. It was a little difficult to consume because of this. I’d simply make it using new bread next time, and it’d still be a hit.
